Convey Growth is the trade name of Forward Deployed Labs LLC, a two-person company based in Miami, Florida. This page says what this website collects, why, who else touches it, and how to turn it off or have it deleted. It covers conveygrowth.com only. What we do with a client's data once we work together is set out in that client's agreement.

We collect what you type into our two forms, and the usage data that Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity record while you browse. The forms exist so we can reply to you. The analytics exist so we can see how the site is used. There are no accounts and no payments on this site, and we do not sell your data.

The site has two forms. The read form asks for your store's web address and, if you want the read sent to you, your email. The contact form asks for your name, your email, your brand, a revenue range, what you need and a message.

Each submission is delivered to our Slack workspace and to our email. We use it to write the read, to answer you, and to decide whether we are a fit. That is all we use it for. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share it with anyone except the services that carry it to us, listed below. If you write to us by email instead of using a form, the same applies.

To write the read we look at your store's public pages and at public information about the brand. We do not log in to anything.

If we follow up and you would rather we did not, say so and we stop. We keep what you sent for as long as we are talking, or might be, and we delete it when you ask.

Like every website, this one is served by a hosting provider, Vercel, whose servers see your IP address, your browser type and the pages you request, and keep standard server logs.

The site's typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those files from Google as well.

We run two analytics tools, and both set cookies.

Google Analytics 4 records which pages you view, how you arrived, how you move between pages, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. It uses cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID. Google explains what it collects from sites that use its tools at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We do not connect Google Analytics to Google Ads and we do not use it to build advertising audiences.

Microsoft Clarity records how you use the pages, meaning clicks, scrolling and cursor movement, and can replay a visit as a recording and a heatmap so we can see where the site confuses people. Clarity sets first-party cookies named _clck and _clsk, and Microsoft cookies named CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM. Anything you type into a form field is masked and never recorded. Microsoft may use the data Clarity collects for its own purposes, described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement at https://www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement.

We use both tools to understand how the site is used and to improve it, and for nothing else. This site carries no advertising pixels from Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft or anyone else, and we do not use what the analytics tools collect to advertise to you.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the analytics tools run without setting cookies unless you tell them otherwise.

We use a few services to run this site. Each one handles your data only to provide its service to us, under its own terms:

Vercel hosts the site and runs the two form handlers.

Slack is where form submissions arrive.

Google provides our email (Google Workspace), the analytics (Google Analytics) and the typefaces (Google Fonts).

Microsoft provides Clarity.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for anyone's advertising. We would hand it over only if the law required it. We are in the United States, and that is where we work with your data.

Wherever you live, you can email dale@conveygrowth.com and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We answer within 30 days. For a deletion request we remove the Slack messages and the emails your submission created, except anything the law requires us to keep.

California: we do not sell or share personal information as the California Consumer Privacy Act defines those words, and our company is below that law's size thresholds, so it does not apply to us. We honor the requests above anyway, and we do not treat anyone differently for making one.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: this site is built for consumer brands in the United States and we do not aim it at you. If you are there and you write to us anyway, we hold what you send because we need it to reply, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

This site is for people who run consumer brands. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

If we change what this site collects or how we use it, we update this page and the date at the top, and a line under the date says what changed. We do not change it quietly.
